– “Re-plate” charity sales of retired tableware from Shanghai’s top restaurants
With the strong support of participating restaurants – Scilla, Madre, 8½ Otto e Mezzo Bombana Shanghai, Fu He Hui and its affiliated restaurants, and Taian Table – along with the engagement of the public, the Re-plate charity sales of retired tableware from Shanghai’s top restaurants, held on October 18, 2025, achieved inspiring results recording that the total proceeds surpassed 20,000 yuan ($2,808) by the close the event.
在Scilla、Madre、8½ Otto e Mezzo Bombana Shanghai、福和慧及其福系餐厅、泰安门，以及公众的大力支持下，「沪上名店餐盘循环公益计划，暨旧餐盘线下义卖活动」在10月18日活动当日的售卖总额超过2万元。
After the deduction of necessary costs, a net contribution of 21,059 yuan ($2,960) was donated in its entirety to the Free Lunch for Children (FLC) program. The funds, equivalent to 3,509 nutritious meals, are designated to support the FLC program at Gaofeng Primary School in Hefeng County of Enshi Prefecture in Central China’s Hubei Province.
经核算，扣除必要成本后，本次净筹得善款 21,059元，现已全部捐赠至「免费午餐」公益项目。我们为乡村学童所捐赠的这笔款项，相当于3,509份营养午餐。而这笔款项，计划将会用于支持「免费午餐」在湖北省恩施州鹤峰县邬阳乡高峰小学的学校营养餐项目中。
This accomplishment was made possible thanks to the generous support of participating restaurants who graciously contributed their retired tableware to the cause. After a careful consideration, select pieces will be retained for supporting community initiatives.
感谢参与活动的餐厅慷慨捐赠餐具，使得目前仍有部分库存。经讨论，我们将会精选部分餐具并留存，用于后续公益活动。
And for tableware no longer suitable for reuse, we will partner with a sustainability-driven company committed to transforming waste resources into high-quality recycled materials by new technology. Through this partnership, retired plates will be reborn in new forms, extending their lifecycle and advancing the vision of a circular and sustainable economy.
对于损耗严重的旧餐具，我们将会携手一家致力于将废弃资源转化为高品质再生材料的可持续研究品牌，他们将会让旧餐盘以另一种创新方式实现循环再生。
