With just a year of its operation in Paris, ŌRTENSIA which was co-founded by the Japanese Chef Terumitsu Saito and the Shanghai native Zhengyuan Xu earned its first Michelin star in 2023. Late last year, the eponymous restaurant ŌRTENSIA made its debut in Shanghai, China.

Led by the Chef de Cuisine Hana Zhou,  ŌRTENSIA Shanghai soon builds up a good word-of-mouth. What’s worth applauding is her strong spiritual strength: a master degree holder spent over a decade moving up from Commis, Chef de Partie, Junior Sous Chef, Sous Chef to Chef de Cuisine.
